Cancelation Policy For All UMHS Interpreter Services Training Courses
Cancelations will be permitted four or more weeks prior to the start of a training course without incurring a fee.
Due to the costs of establishing, holding, and refilling participant slots along with the associated costs of pre-course materials and course materials, the following cancellation fee schedule applies:
• For 2 to 4 weeks prior to the start of a training course there will be a $50 cancellation fee for all training courses.
• Within 2 weeks of the start of a training course:
o Cancellation fee for each Training Course is as follows…
Bridging the Gap (BTG) training course fee is $650.
• Cancellation fee is $250.
Medical Terminology and Body Systems training course fee is $280 for general public and $265 for UMHS interpreters.
• Cancellation fee is $90 for general public and $85 for UMHS interpreters.
Medical Interpreting for Spanish Speakers training course fee is $495
• Cancellation fee is $160.
ASL Medical Interpreting - Basic Skills training course fee is $150.
• Cancellation fee is $50.
Nigel Howard: Topics in Medical & Mental Health Interpreting training course fee is $225.
• Cancellation fee is $75.
• No show at first day of training course will be a cancellation fee of 100% of training course payment.
